With over 15 years of experience in all facets of Mortgage Lending, Melissa has knowledge in conventional, non-conventional, government, non-prime, and hard money loans. She understands that every loan is unique and keeps an optimistic mindset.


Melissa has an extensive background in helping first time homebuyers, high net worth borrowers, investors, and self-employed borrowers. Prior to joining Doorway as a Senior Loan Officer, she was in Sales roles for a number of the nation’s top builders including Lennar, Shea, Meritage, Taylor Morrison, Richmond American, and Toll Brothers as a contractor. Melissa’s career started at GMAC and was awarded Rookie of the year in her first year in business with them. As a previous Account Executive in business-to-business sales, Melissa believes that relationships are what makes or breaks her business and takes a consultative approach with every client. Melissa does not believe that the relationship is over after the deal is done. Being organized and diligent is something that she prides herself on.


Melissa is a loan officer in several states and holds a license as a real estate agent to keep herself aware of her client’s needs. She has a certification in Loan Processing, and Loan Sales Origination. Melissa has been recognized for her hard work and leadership skills with several awards.
